Refund & Cancellation Policy

This policy explains how subscription billing, cancellation, and refunds work at Woxgen. It applies to all paid plans purchased through woxgen.com and the editor at app.woxgen.com. Please read it carefully before purchasing.
1. Try before you buy
We offer a permanently free plan so that you can fully evaluate Woxgen before paying. The free plan lets you upload a short recording, generate a script, hear the voice-over, and render a complete demo video (with a watermark). We strongly encourage you to test the Service on the free tier first to confirm that it meets your needs.
Because the free plan exists for evaluation, paid subscriptions are considered a deliberate purchase and are non-refundable as set out below.
2. Non-refundable subscriptions
All paid subscription fees, including the Plus, Teams, and Pro plans, are non-refundable. Once a billing period starts, the amount charged for that period is not refunded if you:
- change your mind after subscribing;
- do not use the Service during the cycle;
- cancel partway through a billing cycle;
- are unable to use the Service due to circumstances outside our control (e.g., your internet, your hardware, or third-party platform outages);
- are downgraded automatically due to non-compliance with these Terms.
3. Cancellation
You may cancel your subscription at any time from Settings → Billing in the editor. When you cancel:
- Your paid plan stays active for the remainder of the current billing period.
- No further renewals will be charged to your payment method.
- At the end of the period, your account is automatically moved to the free plan. Your projects and rendered videos remain accessible, subject to free-plan storage limits.
You can also cancel by emailing support@woxgen.com from your account email at least 24 hours before the next renewal date.
4. Limited exceptions where we may refund
We may, at our sole discretion, issue a refund or credit in narrowly defined situations:
- Duplicate or accidental charge — if you were billed twice for the same subscription period due to a payment-processor error, we will refund the duplicate charge.
- Unauthorised charge — if you can demonstrate that someone other than the legitimate account holder used your card without consent, contact us within 7 days of the charge with supporting details.
- Material service failure — if the Service is completely unavailable due to a fault on our side for more than 72 continuous hours during a billing period, we may, at our discretion, issue a pro-rated credit or refund for that period.
To request a refund under any of these grounds, email support@woxgen.com within 7 days of the charge with your account email and the transaction reference. Approved refunds are processed back to the original payment method within 7–14 working days, depending on your bank or card issuer.
5. Chargebacks
If you have a billing concern, please contact us first at support@woxgen.com — the vast majority of issues are resolved within 1–2 business days. Initiating a chargeback without first contacting us may result in immediate suspension of your account while the dispute is investigated.
6. Plan changes and upgrades
- Upgrades take effect immediately. You will be charged a pro-rated difference for the remainder of the current billing period and then billed the new plan price on the next renewal.
- Downgrades take effect at the end of the current billing period. You keep your higher-tier features and quotas until then.
7. Free plan
The free plan has no charges and therefore nothing to refund. You may stop using it at any time, and you may delete your account from settings, in which case your data is removed as described in our Privacy Policy.
8. Taxes
All prices on the pricing page are exclusive of applicable taxes. Where Indian GST or any other taxes apply, they are added at checkout and remitted to the relevant authority. Refunds, where issued, exclude any non-recoverable taxes.
