# Woxgen Documentation

Woxgen is an AI software demo generator. Give it a screen recording (or, on the Pro plan, just your app's URL) and it produces a narrated, captioned HD demo video — no manual editing.

## Getting started
1. Sign up at https://app.woxgen.com.
2. Create a project and either **upload a screen recording** (MP4/MOV/WebM) or, on any **paid** plan, paste your web app's URL to use **Auto-Record**.
3. Woxgen extracts key frames, writes a narration script, generates AI voice-over, adds zoom/highlight effects, and syncs captions.
4. Review and edit in the editor (trim, reorder, rewrite narration, change the voice, adjust zoom and captions).
5. Render an HD MP4 and download it.

## How it works (pipeline)
- **Frame extraction** — samples the recording for meaningful moments.
- **Vision analysis** — an AI model reads each frame (what screen, what action).
- **Script generation** — turns the analysis into a natural voice-over script.
- **Voice-over** — synthesizes narration with your chosen AI voice.
- **Render** — composites video, audio, zoom, and captions into a final MP4.

## Auto-Record (on every paid plan)
Instead of recording your own screen, paste your app URL and an AI browser agent opens the app, signs in off-camera behind your login wall, clicks through your product like a real user, and records the demo automatically. Credentials are used once to sign in and are never shown in the video or stored in the script.

## Voices & languages
Multiple natural AI voices across many languages. You can preview a voice before generating and change it per project.

## Exports
Download the finished demo as an HD MP4. Renders are unlimited and watermark-free on every plan.
